What Is Natal Care? How Does Prenatal & Post Natal Care Work?

Pre & Post Natal Care is a program based on improving posture, breathing patterns and functional movement in prenatal and postnatal women. The assessment phase evaluates posture and breathing at rest, as well as 6 primal movement patterns (squat, alternating lunge, twist, bend, push, and pull). Following an assessment, our Physical Therapist will implement corrective exercise and posture on the 1st visit. Our primary goal is to teach both prenatal and postnatal women that it is safe and beneficial to participate in an exercise program before or following childbirth.
